Job Details

We are hiring an Estimator for our client located in Conway, AR. This position plays a vital role in the repair and maintenance process for large fleet vehicles by preparing accurate and timely estimates. The Estimator will be responsible for assessing damage, compiling parts and labor costs, and communicating clearly with both internal teams and external partners. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong attention to detail and experience in estimating repairs—especially on commercial or fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess damage on larger fleet vehicles, including buses, trucks, and semis
Prepare detailed repair estimates including labor, parts, and additional service requirements
Use estimating software and tools to develop accurate cost projections
Collaborate with technicians, service managers, and clients to gather necessary information
Ensure that estimates meet company standards and align with customer expectations
Maintain up-to-date records of estimates, vehicle details, and job progress
Coordinate with parts departments and vendors to source accurate pricing
Support the shop team by offering guidance on repair procedures and timing based on estimates
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and repair regulations
Provide excellent customer service and communication throughout the estimating process

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience as an Estimator, preferably in an automotive or fleet repair environment
Familiarity with estimating software and tools (e.g., CCC, Mitchell, or similar) is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of vehicle components, repair methods, and cost structures
Ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented environment
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Experience working with larger commercial or fleet vehicles strongly preferred
