Job Details
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Evening Office Cleaner for our client to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment in our main office facility. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values consistency, and enjoys working independently.
The position will begin with hands-on training alongside an experienced team member to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning offices, conference rooms, break rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste properly
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Dusting and sanitizing desks, countertops, and high-touch surfaces
- Cleaning windows, walls, and glass surfaces as needed
- Thorough restroom cleaning, including scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets
- Restocking restroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.)
- Securing the building at the end of each shift (locking doors)
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and ensuring proper storage of supplies
- Following safety procedures and cleaning schedules
- Reporting maintenance or repair needs to management
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning products and proper techniques
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to follow instructions and stay organized
- Comfortable working independently or with a team
- Reliable transportation required
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent reaching, bending, and stretching
- Ability to push a vacuum for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working evening hours
