Are you energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about food service? Join our client’s team as a Food Runner in Hot Springs, AR, and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our buffet line and kitchen area.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport food from the kitchen to the buffet line in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all dishes are presented attractively and in accordance with established standards.
• Clean and maintain the buffet line throughout service hours, including replenishing food items, condiments, and utensils to ensure a fresh and appealing presentation.
• Assist in the kitchen with cold prep tasks, minor cooking duties, plating food, and refilling orders as needed to support kitchen operations.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items to prevent contamination and ensure food quality.
• Follow established procedures for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and buffet area, including regular cleaning and sanitization of surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
• Uphold dress code standards by wearing black dress pants or jeans (no leggings or yoga pants) and a solid white t-shirt. Clothing must be clean, presentable, and free of holes or tears.
• Chef coat will be provided if needed to ensure a professional appearance while on duty.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and food quality.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet service demands and deadlines.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business operations.
