Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Malvern, AR. This position begins with 40 hours of training during the first week and transitions to a 12-hour rotating shift. If you are reliable, safety-oriented, and experienced in forklift operations, this opportunity is for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Operate equipment required to transfer film, resin, padding, production supplies, pallets, finished goods, roll stock, and other raw materials. Equipment includes forklifts, clamp-lifts, hi-packers, balers, Big Joe, Glad hands, Dok Lock, and more.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels to support all production orders by conducting cycle counts and daily inventory checks.
- Ensure proper 5S standards for all raw materials.
- Safely load and unload trucks, stocking items securely and efficiently per department standards.
- Restock thermoforming supplies to maintain the operation of production equipment.
- Communicate important information during shift changes to facilitate smooth transitions.
- Follow all forklift rotation, safety rules, and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and debris-free workspace while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Understand the locations and operations of emergency stop buttons and fire extinguishers.
- Complete forklift maintenance check-off sheets and replace propane tanks as needed.
- Monitor and record all products and supplies received, ensuring accuracy in product counts, IDs, and warehouse destinations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be able to operate a forklift and related equipment.
- Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices and cycle counts.
