Job Details
Our client is hiring General Production Associates in Atkins, AR. This is an entry-level production role. No experience is required. You will work in a cold food production setting.
Key Responsibilities
You may be placed in one or more areas of the production line, such as:
- Inspection: Check products for quality and remove anything that does not meet standards.
- Product Prep: Help with skinning and other prep steps on the line.
- Packing & Stacking: Make boxes, pack products, bulk pack, and stack finished boxes.
- Freezer Line: Spread product evenly on the IQF (individually quick frozen) line.
- Line Support: Work on assigned production lines and help wherever needed.
- Safety & Sanitation: Follow all food safety, sanitation, and PPE rules.
- Other Duties: Complete other related tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications
- Experience: Not required, but preferred.
- Reliability: Dependable and at work on time when scheduled.
- Flexibility: Available to work any shift, including some Saturdays.
- Physical Requirements: Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 70 lbs. Job includes bending, stooping, reaching, and grasping.
- Work Environment: Cold area (40–45°F) with wet floors.
- Rules & Guidelines: Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines (SSOPs, GMPs), wear required PPE, and follow all company rules, including attendance and break times.
