Job Details
Our client is seeking a dependable and hardworking Gift Shop Order Puller to support daily warehouse and gift shop operations. This position is responsible for pulling customer and inventory orders, transporting products from the warehouse to the gift shop, packing orders, and keeping shelves stocked and organized.
The Gift Shop Order Puller will spend much of the workday on their feet and must be comfortable with frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and stacking. The ideal candidate is physically capable, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and prepare gift shop orders accurately and efficiently.
- Move products and orders from the warehouse to the gift shop.
- Push and pull carts, boxes, and other materials throughout the workday.
- Lift and carry boxes weighing approximately 20–50 pounds.
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for delivery or stocking.
- Stock and organize merchandise on gift shop shelves.
- Replenish inventory as needed to keep shelves properly stocked.
- Stack boxes and merchandise safely in designated areas.
- Verify products and quantities to ensure orders are accurate.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Follow all safety procedures when handling merchandise and equipment.
- Assist with other warehouse and gift shop duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, order pulling, stocking, packing, or retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to lift and carry 20–50 pounds regularly.
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
- Ability to safely bend, reach, stoop, and stack merchandise.
- Strong attention to detail when pulling and packing orders.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse and retail/gift shop environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.
