Job Details
As a Hoist/Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in the warehouse operations, specifically handling custom motors and compressors. Your primary responsibilities will include using a hoist to move these items from pallets to the production line and vice versa. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate hoist and forklift to transport custom motors and compressors within the warehouse.
- Move items from pallets to the production line and from the line back to pallets as needed.
- Ensure all materials are handled safely and securely to prevent damage or accidents.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following warehouse safety guidelines at all times.
- Assist with inventory management by accurately recording movements of materials.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hoist/Forklift Operator or similar role.
- Valid forklift certification and a demonstrated ability to operate a hoist safely.
- Physical fitness to perform duties including standing, bending, stooping, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required, with regular hours from 7am to 3:30pm.
