Job Details
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Inside Sales Associate to support daily operations in our hardware and lumberyard store. This role involves assisting customers, processing sales, maintaining inventory, and helping ensure the store remains organized and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in-store with product selection, questions, and purchases
- Operate the register and handle cashiering duties accurately
- Prepare sales orders, quotes, and basic material estimates
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and monitor inventory levels
- Receive and track incoming inventory and assist with counts
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
- Support general store operations and maintenance as needed
Qualifications
- Previous retail or inside sales experience preferred (hardware/lumber experience a plus)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math and estimating skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn
