Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of production equipment, including lathes, grinders, mills, brake presses, punch presses, band saws, slitters, lasers, and other manufacturing machines.
• Set up, adjust, calibrate, and troubleshoot machinery to ensure products meet required specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Load raw materials into machines and monitor production cycles for quality and efficiency.
• Inspect and measure finished products using precision measuring tools to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and production schedules.
• Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced and any rejected or defective materials.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and make minor machine adjustments as needed.
• Monitor machine controls, speeds, and settings to ensure efficient operation.
• Position and align tooling, dies, guides, rolls, and other machine components according to production requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Follow all company safety policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), ISO requirements, and quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and self-managed performance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn multiple types of production equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing to a team environment.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to changing production demands, and follow detailed instructions.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Frequently bend, kneel, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, and noisy manufacturing environments.
• Good hand-eye coordination, visual acuity, and attention to detail.
