Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning at shopping centers, business areas, warehouse parking lots, and truck docks.
• Maintain green spaces, shrubs, and surrounding property areas.
• Pick up litter and debris and empty trash cans throughout assigned properties.
• Clean vacant spaces as needed, including windows and restrooms.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness around trash and cardboard compactors and dumpsters.
• Remove overflow, loose trash, and other debris around dumpster and compactor areas.
• Report property concerns to the office, including full compactors, furniture or mattress drop-offs, broken windows, leaks, sprinkler issues, and abandoned vehicles.
• Inspect properties regularly and identify areas requiring cleaning, maintenance, or additional attention.
• Keep shop restrooms clean and properly stocked with toilet paper, cleaning products, and other necessary supplies.
• Purchase cleaning and maintenance supplies as needed and maintain receipts for all purchases.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, tire replacement, and keeping the company vehicle clean.
• Follow all safety procedures while performing maintenance, cleaning, and property inspections.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company appropriately while working at client properties.
• Complete additional maintenance and quality control duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, janitorial, property maintenance, or similar experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, safe properties.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license may be required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, bending, lifting, and picking up trash and debris.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to report property issues promptly.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to maintain accurate receipts and records for company purchases.
