We are seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team in Fort Smith, AR. As an essential member of the maintenance team, you will perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning, painting, and addressing various maintenance needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and maintain our facilities to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
- Inspect and repair equipment and machinery as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and minimize downtime during maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and utilized materials.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation every other weekend.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or relevant experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Possess basic tools, such as a drill, hammer, and screwdrivers.
- Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with supervisors and team members.
