Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and test all machinery and equipment, ensuring everything runs efficiently both on-site and off-site when needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, collaborating with supervisors and maintenance teams to quickly resolve any machinery issues.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out procedures to ensure workplace safety.
• Disassemble defective machinery, replace or repair parts, and reassemble to get it back to peak performance.
• Maintain HVAC and air compressor units to ensure optimal functionality across the facility.
• Fabricate and modify custom parts to enhance or repair specialized machinery.
• Provide support and training to team members on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain and repair electrical systems, including wiring, transformers, and electrical components.
• Ensure the physical structure of the facility is maintained, including plumbing repairs and upgrades.
• Work with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, setting up tooling and maintaining precision.
• Monitor and calibrate gas levels within the facility, ensuring compliance and safety.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain and repair powered forklift trucks and assist with machine upgrades or control packages when required.
• Operate scissor lifts and other material handling equipment as needed, adhering to training and safety protocols.
• Assist production and shipping teams when necessary, contributing to smooth operations across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required. Mechanical or electrical certification is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is preferred.
• Previous experience with powered forklift trucks, welding, cutting torches, and HVAC systems is highly desired.
• Forklift certification, or the ability to receive certification within 30 days, is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of safety protocols are essential.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other team members.
• Must be physically capable of performing tasks involving heavy lifting (up to 75lbs), climbing ladders, and working in varied temperature environments.
