Job Details
The Manufacturing Production Associate builds custom wooden crates and boxes used for shipping products. This role requires accurate measuring, reading cut sheets, and hands-on carpentry-style work. The position involves heavy lifting, attention to detail, and basic computer use for timekeeping and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Build custom wooden crates and boxes according to manufacturing cut sheets
- Accurately measure materials using a tape measure with near-perfect precision
- Assemble products safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Take initiative and work independently when needed
- Perform heavy, awkward lifting throughout the shift
- Use HRIS systems for timekeeping and employee self-service tasks
Qualifications
- Proven ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Experience reading manufacturing or production cut sheets
- Carpentry experience strongly preferred
- Logistics or shipping experience with carrier requirements preferred
- Basic computer and technology skills
- Reliable communication via phone
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
