Our client is seeking a talented Mechanical Designer to join their growing team in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The ideal candidate will have experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial facilities and will play an important role in delivering high-quality mechanical designs from concept through construction.

As a Mechanical Designer, you will work closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers to develop detailed mechanical system designs that meet client needs while complying with applicable codes and industry standards. Key Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects.
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Coordinate project designs with electrical engineers, architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate directly with clients.
• Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration activities.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and engineering best practices.
• Support multiple projects while maintaining quality, accuracy, and project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred but not required for experienced Mechanical Designers.
• Approximately 2–7 years of mechanical or MEP design experience preferred.
• Engineering Intern (EI) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
• Mechanical Designers with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience designing plumbing systems is beneficial.
• Proficiency with Revit is required.
• AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of applicable mechanical codes and engineering standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
