Job Details
We are hiring a MIG Welder in Little Rock, AR to weld Galvaneal and stainless steel parts for hollow metal doors and frames. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality welds, follow safety procedures, and meet production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and cut sheets.
- Prepare materials and set up welding equipment properly.
- Perform MIG welding to create strong, clean welds.
- Inspect and ensure quality welds with minimal defects.
- Keep accurate production records and report any issues.
- Maintain and perform minor maintenance on welding equipment.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Track material supplies and notify the Lead when running low.
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Vo-Tech welding certification or 5+ years of MIG welding experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and use shop math.
- Experience with welding tools and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and work in hot or cold environments.
- Must wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, etc.).
