We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paint Line Associate for a key role with our client in Conway, AR. This is a 2nd shift opportunity offering full-time hours and the chance to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment. As a Paint Line Associate, you will play a vital part in the painting process—particularly on a powder coating line—by preparing, hanging, removing, and packaging metal or manufactured parts.
The Paint Line Associate is responsible for ensuring that parts are properly staged and aligned for paint application and that finished products meet all quality and safety specifications. You’ll work closely with other team members to maintain a consistent workflow and deliver high-quality results that meet production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently hang parts onto hooks or conveyor systems with attention to correct positioning and spacing.
- Remove completed parts from the line, handling them with care to avoid damage.
- Package painted parts in accordance with shipping or inventory requirements.
- Perform visual inspections before and after painting to ensure there are no defects or imperfections.
- Identify and report issues related to part quality, coating coverage, or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly and stand, bend, stoop, and move for the majority of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail when inspecting and handling parts.
- Dependable and able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Adaptable to changing priorities or production demands.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or paint line environment is a plus but not required.
- Must be safety conscious and committed to maintaining a hazard-free work environment.
