Key Responsibilities
- Design and plan protocols for equipment or processes to ensure products meet internal and external purity, safety, and quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day functions in specialized departments such as Facilities Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance, and Vehicle Maintenance.
- Adhere to departmental expense budgets and apply value analysis to repair/replace, repair/redesign, and make/buy decisions.
- Manage technical resources and activities toward meeting project and process goals.
- Implement calibration programs for test equipment related to tank products and maintain preventative/predictive maintenance programs.
- Develop and maintain standard maintenance procedures and establish employee performance standards and expectations.
- Provide guidance, training, history tracking, troubleshooting, and resolution for all applicable specialized issues.
- Supervise and coordinate all activities of outside contractors, vendors, and services for construction, renovation, repairs, and special projects as appropriate to specific departments.
- Track equipment/systems performance, prepare reports, and make recommendations to Management.
- Perform administrative duties per company policy and participate in the final checkout of new installations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in project management, process standards development, facilities/production/equipment layouts/drawings, cost reduction, manufacturing/business planning systems, PC proficiency, and systems integration activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, budgeting, and cost containment skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, supervisory, and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and basic understanding of ISO 9000 design requirements.
