As a Press Brake Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in our production process, operating a specialized press brake machine to shape and form custom metal components. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential in delivering the exceptional products our customers have come to expect. This position requires precision, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor the press brake machine to produce custom metal parts and components.
- Perform quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet specifications.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation to support efficient production.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for accurate manufacturing.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience operating fabrication equipment, specifically press brake machines.
- Must be able to add/subtract fractions and convert them to decimals. Candidates must pass a fractions and decimal test to qualify for this role.
- Ability to read a tape measure down to at least 1/16th of an inch.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and safety best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- This position involves heavy and awkward lifting, requiring physical endurance.
