Job Details
Our client is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Production Associate to join their manufacturing team in Benton, AR. The Production Associate will operate manual and automated equipment to process raw materials into high-quality ceramic powders used in finished products. This position plays an important role in maintaining safe, efficient, and consistent production while following established safety, quality, production, and maintenance procedures.
The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, basic mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Forklift experience and familiarity with semi-automated machinery are preferred. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with equipment and contributing to a productive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manual and automated production equipment.
- Start up, shut down, and change over equipment.
- Monitor equipment and troubleshoot basic issues.
- Follow work instructions and product specifications.
- Perform quality checks during production.
- Operate forklifts and other powered equipment to move materials.
- Track raw materials, supplies, and inventory.
- Follow safety and maintenance procedures.
- Keep the work area clean and organized using 6S practices.
- Communicate with team members to keep production running smoothly.
- Complete required training and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred; forklift operation is required.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to use touchscreens and learn new equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, or dusty conditions.
- Must complete all required training.
