Production Lead Supervisor

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Open the plant and set up production daily.
• Lead and support factory personnel, ensuring proper staffing and training.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Manage material flow and oversee inventory control.
• Assign daily tasks to maximize productivity.
• Inspect product quality and ensure accurate production documentation.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and coordinate preventative maintenance.
• Assist with machine setups and changeovers.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Deliver products to local customers when required.
• Participate in required training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Employee discipline or performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a company Forklift License (training provided).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Experience with machine operation and inventory tracking is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for production reporting.
