Job Details
Our client is seeking a Production Worker to join their team in Greenwood, AR. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient production of quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Measure, space, and assist the machine operator in setting new saw blades, cutters, and perforates according to product specifications.
- Material Handling: Feed cardboard sheets onto machine feed tracks and process them through gluing, coating, and slitting rollers.
- Quality Control: Observe the operation of the machine to detect improper forming, glue flow, or pasteboard tension. Examine completed work to detect defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Team Collaboration: Work in a team-oriented environment, communicate effectively with management and fellow employees, and contribute to a positive work culture.
Qualifications
- Teamwork: Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with management and colleagues.
- Experience: Corrugated experience is preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, small power tools, and computerized setup processes related to assigned equipment.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Basic Skills: Basic math, measurement, and computer skills to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Physical Ability: Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that require physical dexterity.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production demands and deadlines.
