Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Details

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to support manufacturing operations and ensure products meet established quality standards. The Quality Assurance Inspector will work closely with production teams to verify that required inspections are being performed correctly and consistently while conducting inspections of key product characteristics.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a working knowledge of quality and process control documentation. This position will also help train production associates on proper inspection procedures and assist with containment activities when quality issues or non-conforming products are identified.

Key Responsibilities

• Train production associates to perform quality inspections according to process control plans and defined sampling plans.
• Ensure production associates follow documented work instructions and know where to locate applicable work instructions and process control plans.
• Verify inspections performed by production associates for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform inspections of key product characteristics as needed.
• Document and report inspection findings and quality concerns to the manufacturing team.
• Assist with sorting and containment activities when non-conforming products are identified internally or at customer locations.
• Support employee training related to quality objectives and inspection requirements.
• Train production associates on the proper use of measuring equipment and inspection tools.
• Audit production processes to ensure quality objectives and established procedures are being followed.
• Assist production teams in investigating quality issues and determining potential causes.
• Communicate quality concerns to the Quality Manager and appropriate manufacturing personnel.
• Help identify opportunities for process improvement and improved quality performance.
• Follow company quality policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of process control documentation.
• Familiarity with process control plans, process flow diagrams, and Process FMEAs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with production employees, supervisors, and management.
• Ability to train others and clearly communicate quality requirements.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
