Job Details
We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our client’s team in Danville, AR. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections at various stages of production to ensure that products meet all quality standards and customer requirements. This is a key role in maintaining compliance, accuracy, and consistency within the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and testing of all products according to the approved inspection and sampling plan.
- Conduct floor inspections at least every 30 minutes and whenever equipment is restarted after maintenance.
- Complete visual checks between scheduled inspections to ensure ongoing product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
- Ensure calibration of shop floor equipment and measurement gauges is up to date.
- Accept or reject products based on inspection results, with the authority to stop or continue production if needed.
- Assist with equipment set-up and sorting after training, keeping operations running smoothly.
- Operate and maintain the wash system, ensuring crates and containers are properly identified as they exit the process.
- Report quality concerns to supervisors promptly and work with the Quality Lab Manager if issues cannot be resolved independently.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in all inspection areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- No prior experience necessary—training provided.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
- Strong mathematical ability, including fractions, decimals, geometry, and algebra.
- Computer literacy sufficient to operate basic software and systems.
