Job Details
Our staffing agency is recruiting a Quality Manager for one of our clients in Springdale, AR. This Quality Manager role is a leadership position responsible for managing all quality assurance activities, supervising the Quality team, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and customer standards. The Quality Manager will play a critical role in maintaining a strong quality management system while driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and oversee all internal quality audits to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures
- Identify, document, and resolve nonconformities resulting from internal and external audits
- Investigate, document, respond to, and track all customer complaints through resolution
- Track, follow up on, and close corrective and preventive action (CAPA) requests, both internal and customer-initiated
- Lead and facilitate management reviews of the quality management system
- Prepare and support the organization for ISO 9001 audits and ongoing compliance
- Ensure organizational systems, procedures, work instructions, and training programs are established, maintained, and effective
- Administer and maintain document control and configuration management systems
- Ensure documentation and design controls meet organizational and customer requirements
- Oversee calibration, testing, and inspection programs to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain compliance with customer specifications and design files
- Oversee receiving inspection activities and quality-related change management processes
- Provide quality assurance support to leadership and cross-functional teams as needed
- Supervise Quality Department personnel, including training, daily work direction, and performance support
- Define, implement, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives throughout the organization
- Perform additional duties as assigned; responsibilities may change as business needs evolve
Qualifications
- Education relevant to quality, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality leadership role
- Strong working knowledge of quality management systems and audit processes
- Experience preparing for and supporting ISO 9001 audits
- Ability to lead investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action initiatives
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
- HVAC industry experience is a plus but not required with relevant quality experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in both office and manufacturing/plant environments
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and computer systems
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based with regular time spent in a manufacturing or plant setting
- Occasional exposure to loud noises, fumes, or manufacturing conditions
- Ability to sit, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 25 pounds
- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Travel
- Primarily local travel during business hours
- Occasional out-of-area or overnight travel may be required
