Job Details
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Retail Associate to oversee daily operations at a small retail store located in a corporate setting. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $14-16 per hour. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 2 – 5 pm providing a consistent and manageable workweek.
As the Retail Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently. While prior retail experience is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills who can manage a variety of tasks throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Closing the store according to company procedures, ensuring all operations are set for the day.
- Maintaining a clean and organized store floor to provide an inviting shopping environment.
- Stocking products as needed, ensuring shelves are always well-stocked and items are displayed attractively.
- Acting as a cashier when required, processing transactions quickly and accurately.
- Providing exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers and addressing their needs in a professional and friendly manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable handling cash transactions and working with a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness, stock levels, and overall store appearance.
