Key Responsibilities

• Operating specialized sanitation equipment such as garbage trucks and recycling collection vehicles
• Collecting and transporting residential, commercial, and industrial waste and recyclables along assigned routes
• Ensuring proper handling, storage, and disposal of all collected materials
• Performing routine maintenance and safety checks on sanitation vehicles and equipment
• Collaborating with the broader sanitation team to optimize collection schedules and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in a manual labor or equipment operation role
• Familiarity with local waste management regulations and protocols
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
