Job Details
Our client is seeking a dependable and hardworking Service Operator to join their warehouse team in Little Rock. The Service Operator will primarily be responsible for loading and unloading materials while assisting with various warehouse tasks as needed. This is a physically active position that requires employees to remain on their feet for extended periods and regularly perform lifting, bending, reaching, and other manual activities.
The ideal Service Operator is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work and are looking to gain or build upon warehouse experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Perform frequent lifting, bending, reaching, standing, and walking.
- Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Work cooperatively with other warehouse team members to complete daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in an indoor warehouse that is not climate controlled.
- Must be comfortable working in varying temperatures.
- Steel-toe shoes are required.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Previous forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn and assist with a variety of warehouse duties.
