Sr. Operations Manager

Job Details

Our client is hiring a Senior Operations Manager to lead beverage production from start to finish. You’ll take agreed customer deals through purchasing, production, and delivery, making sure every order ships on time, on budget, and to spec. This is a hands-on, on-site role with regular time on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out agreed deals through purchasing, production, and delivery, meeting deadlines, budgets, and specifications.
• Build realistic project timelines, assign clear responsibilities, track milestones, and hold the team accountable.
• Coordinate production, purchasing, quality, packaging suppliers, logistics, and co-packers around shared delivery dates.
• Manage staffing, production capacity, inventory, and spending to meet commitments and cost targets.
• Set expectations, train employees, address performance issues, and keep teams focused on priorities.
• Make sound operating decisions, solve problems, and raise issues early with recommended solutions.
• Give clear, concise updates on completed milestones, upcoming deadlines, budget status, risks, and needed actions.
• Report final results against original commitments.
• Keep a regular presence on the production floor.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of beverage operations experience.
• At least 3 years managing teams and production.
• Proven track record taking projects from deal to delivery on time and within budget.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience managing people, including training and handling performance issues.
• Able to work independently and follow through on commitments.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work full-time on-site and put in additional hours when production requires it.
