Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist for our client located in Conway, AR. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary of $120,000 and provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to join a high-performing pharmaceutical production team in a 503B compounding facility. The Staff Pharmacist will play a critical role in preparing sterile compounded medications in compliance with cGMP, USP <797>, USP <800>, and company SOPs, while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

As a Staff Pharmacist, your responsibilities will include reviewing and interpreting physician orders to verify appropriate medication therapy, labeling and storing medications according to regulatory standards, and conducting necessary quality assurance and sterility testing. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all prepared and dispensed medications, answering inquiries from healthcare professionals, and supervising pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure smooth workflow and regulatory compliance.

The Staff Pharmacist will ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, including the Drug Quality and Security Act (DQSA) and FDA guidelines for 503B compounding pharmacies. In addition, this role includes contributing to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures, managing pharmaceutical inventory and supply orders, and staying informed of industry best practices through continuing education.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
  • Active, clear pharmacist license in the state of Arkansas.
  • Experience in a 503B compounding pharmacy preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of USP <797>, USP <800>, and cGMP regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Occasionally required to move about the office and operate equipment.
  • May involve light lifting as needed.
