Job Details
Our staffing agency is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator for a temporary 1–2 month assignment with one of our clients located on 65th Street in Little Rock, AR. The Forklift Operator will support day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations by moving, staging, and organizing materials in an efficient and accurate manner. This role is essential to keeping warehouse operations running smoothly and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Stage, organize, and position products for shipping, receiving, and storage
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing materials for movement
- Follow all company safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and site-specific procedures
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after use and report any issues or concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
- Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to meet daily operational goals
- Remain flexible with work hours and stay late when required to complete tasks
- Support overall warehouse efficiency by ensuring materials are handled accurately and safely
Qualifications
- Prior forklift operating experience is required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong attendance, dependability, and time management skills
- Willingness and ability to work extended hours when needed
- Physically capable of lifting, moving, and handling materials in a warehouse setting
- Comfortable standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to follow instructions, policies, and procedures consistently
