Job Details
Our client is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join their team in Little Rock. This position is ideal for a skilled welder who is comfortable working in tight or confined spaces and can produce clean, accurate welds while following safety and quality standards.
As a TIG Welder, you will perform welding and fabrication work according to specifications, including welding inside and around equipment and enclosures. The TIG Welder must be comfortable moving and working in spaces where mobility may be limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding and fabrication according to specifications and production requirements.
- Weld inside and around equipment, enclosures, and other structures.
- Work safely and effectively in tight or confined spaces.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and proper appearance.
- Follow all company safety procedures and welding guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work efficiently while meeting quality and production expectations.
- Work overtime and Saturdays as needed based on workload.
Qualifications
- Previous TIG welding experience is required.
- Must be able to successfully complete the company’s welding skills test.
- Must be comfortable working inside enclosures and in tight or confined spaces.
- Must be nimble and able to move around comfortably while performing welding duties.
- Must not be claustrophobic.
- Must be comfortable working around large dogs, as dogs are present in the work area.
- Must be comfortable working in an area that is not temperature controlled.
- Must provide your own steel-toed shoes, welding gloves, and welding hood.
- Must be dependable and willing to work overtime, including Saturdays, when needed.
Welding Skills Test
All candidates will be required to complete a welding skills test administered by the Plant Manager prior to placement. The test will be used to evaluate welding ability, technique, and overall skill level.
