Our staffing agency is currently seeking experienced Welder/Fabricators for immediate openings with one of our clients in Springdale, AR. This opportunity is ideal for skilled professionals who have hands-on experience working with stainless steel and food conveying equipment, particularly within the poultry industry. The Welder/Fabricator will play a key role in supporting the fabrication, assembly, and repair of stainless steel components used in food processing operations.
The Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, fabricating custom stainless steel parts, and performing high-quality welds that meet strict industry standards. This position requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work independently in a production-focused environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting where safety, accuracy, and productivity are essential.
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime required as needed. Pay is based on experience and performance during a weld test. All candidates must bring their own welding gear to complete the weld test during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform stainless steel welding and fabrication for food conveying equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Assemble, modify, and repair stainless steel components
- Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards
- Operate welding and fabrication tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work independently to complete assigned projects on time
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable stainless steel welding experience within the last 2 years
- Experience working with food conveying equipment, preferably in the poultry industry
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Reliable transportation
- Must successfully complete a weld test
