As a Tray Delivery Aide, you will be responsible for assembling trays according to food plan orders, delivering trays to patient rooms, and maintaining cleanliness in the food services department. Your attention to detail, commitment to patient satisfaction, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the smooth operation of our food services department.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble trays following food plan orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery to patients.
• Deliver trays to patient rooms promptly and courteously, adhering to established service standards.
• Collect trays from patient rooms after breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring proper disposal of soiled trays.
• Assist in cleanup activities associated with soiled trays and department shutdown cleanup after the trayline is completed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare or food service environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team-oriented setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service to patients and staff.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and lifting trays.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
