As a Warehouse Associate at our Greenwood, AR location, you’ll play a vital role in our operations, working directly with Reliable Poultry retail customers to ensure their needs are met efficiently and professionally. Below are the key duties and responsibilities for this position:

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Engage with Reliable Poultry retail customers both in-store and over the phone to understand their needs thoroughly.
  • Product Recommendations: Recommend the best parts and equipment available at Reliable Poultry to customers, addressing their specific requirements.
  • Operational Efficiency: Operate office equipment, handle cash transactions accurately, and efficiently utilize computer operating systems to process orders and maintain records.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory by unloading stock trucks with a forklift, shelving products, performing cycle counts, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
  • Store Maintenance: Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and orderly store environment, contributing to a positive customer experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain knowledge of parts and equipment used in poultry operations to better serve customer inquiries and needs.


  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role is strongly preferred, with a focus on providing exceptional service and resolving customer issues.
  • Poultry Operations Knowledge: Familiarity with parts and equipment used in poultry operations is advantageous, allowing for more effective customer interactions and product recommendations.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs as part of daily warehouse activities.
  • Software Proficiency: Ability to quickly learn and use inventory management software to assist with stock management and order processing.
  • Self-Motivated: Demonstrate initiative and motivation to excel in a fast-paced warehouse environment, contributing positively to team goals.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are essential for managing inventory, processing orders accurately, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities efficiently to meet customer needs and support store operations.
  • Team Player: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store objectives and deliver exceptional service to customers.
  • Phone Support: Assist with answering phone calls and addressing customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
