Our client is seeking a dependable Welding Robot Assistant to support automated welding operations in a manufacturing environment. The Welding Robot Assistant will help load and unload metal parts, monitor the automated welding process, inspect finished products, and keep the work area organized and safe. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain manufacturing or welding experience and learn new skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload metal parts from automated welding equipment.
- Monitor the welding robot during production and report issues or abnormalities.
- Inspect finished parts for obvious defects and quality concerns.
- Move, organize, and stage materials and finished products.
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Use proper PPE when working around welding equipment and machinery.
- Assist with other general manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or welding experience is a plus, but not required.
- Comfortable working around machinery, welding equipment, and metal parts.
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Dependable attendance and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to following workplace safety procedures.
Work Environment
The Welding Robot Assistant will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, welding operations, noise, and metal parts. Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE while performing their duties.
